It was a fantastic hustings last night. I guess everyone would walk away with their opinions. Most people I think were unsure who to vote for - perhaps the hustings cleared things up a bit. I will talk to locals and see what the mood is...

For those of us not in the know, can you clarify, the stances of the candidates in Hendon viz a viz Islamophobia, freinds of Israel, general favorability to Islamic values/morality.
We the general non political cognicants need advice on candidates stances on issues that muslim voters are concerned about, we can pick up through media party political veiws, but non political activists cant pick up on candidates views that best represent us as muslim constituents

On the one hand we have Andrew Dismore who is a proven dedicated Zionist and on the other hand a Tory guy who is airing his love of Israel everyday.
There is no doubt however that the Muslim Community has to show Dismore the boot.
He is Anti-Palestine, Anti-Turkey, Anti-Nikab, etc etc etc the community needs to flex its muscles and prove that their vote can get some one in and out of a seat.

If we assume that Dismore has not represented the Muslim community (and thus is not worth voting for), the Tory may have similar tendencies but perhaps not so bad, and may have a chance of dislodging Dismore. With the polls showing stronger Lib Dem support than for Labour, the real contender for the Tory is the Lib Dem. Party wise Lib Dems are not so 'slimy and slippery' so I guess its better to go for them...?
